Blackberry Jam Cake Recipe Ingredients:

1-3/4 cups flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup canola oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup blackberry jam
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs

Blackberry Jam Cake Recipe Preparation:

Mix all ingredients together and beat. Grease and flour two 8-inch pans. Fill pans with cake batter and bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

Caramel Icing For The Jam Cake Recipe (Optional)

Ingredients:

1 stick butter
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1/3 cup cream
1-1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar

Icing Preparation:

Blend all ingredients till smooth.
