St. Kitts – Nevis Government Supports CICMC

The Federation will solidify its support of the Caribbean Institute of Certified Management Consultants (CICMC) when Ambassador Rosalyn Hazelle represents the country at the launch in Barbados in November, this year.

According to Ambassador Hazelle, the CICMC was formed in 2007 and has now received accreditation from the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes which tremendously raises its profile and establishes it as an official agency internationally.

Under the theme “New Horizons, New Opportunities,” the CICMC’s launch is expected to bring focus to the impact of membership on professional services and consultancies throughout the region. Ambassador Hazelle stated that she hoped to have other local consultants join her in attending the conference and explained her ministry’s interest.

Nevis Economy Is Still Growing

The Nevis Island Government led by the Nevis Reformation Party, continues to bring economic diversification and growth to Nevis. The most recent example came when the Premier signed an agreement with 21st Century Corporation, on Tuesday, October 21st at the Conference Room of the Bath Hotel.

Founder and CEO of 21st Century telecommunications Mr.Alec Saini headed a delegation of four officials, who looked on as Mr. Saini signed an agreement with the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) that would establish the company’s headquarters in Nevis.

The site of the headquarters would be in the Jessups area where Premier Parry said a training center and a boutique hotel would be built, to accommodate persons working for the company.
