The 50th meeting of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) authority will take place in Anguilla from November 18th- November 20th, 2009.
Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Joseph Parry will be leaving Nevis on Wednesday, as part of a Federal delegation attending the meeting.
A packed agenda will include the dealing of matters pertaining to the imminent establishment of the OECS Economic Union.
The meeting will also include the region’s strategic responses to the global economic crisis and regional crime and security issues.
Prime Minister of St. Kitts-Nevis, the Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas will chair this historic gathering and he will also address the opening ceremony on Wednesday evening.
