Juliette Jeffers, an award-winning Caribbean-American actress of Nevisian heritage, will host an acting master class in Nevis for individuals interested in developing their talent. The event, titled A Taste of Hollywood, is scheduled for March 2 and 3, 2024.
Jeffers is widely respected in the film and television industry. In addition to acting, she is a writer, director, producer, acting coach, and educator. Her extensive background makes her well-suited to guide participants through the fundamentals of the craft.

Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley shared the announcement during his January 30, 2024 press conference. He highlighted Jeffers’ impressive list of acting credits, which reflect her versatility and experience.

As the NIA’s minister responsible for Foreign Investment and the Film Industry, Brantley emphasized the importance of preparing Nevisians for opportunities in the island’s growing film sector. He encouraged individuals who participated in past movie projects on the island or anyone with a passion for acting to consider joining the workshop.
He noted that building local skill-sets is a key part of the island’s strategy to support a long-term film industry. With the right training, future actors, actresses, and performers may emerge from the community.
