Jamaican Actress – Juliet Bodley
The Nevis Tourism Authority is thrilled to announce that Juliet Bodley, better known as Julie Mango, will be the guest host for this year’s Mango Festival. The festival will take place from June 30 to July 2, featuring various events and activities.
In their announcement, the tourism authority said, “We did say we had lots of exciting news coming through this week, right?! We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Juliet Bodley is the guest host for this year’s Mango Festival.”
Juliet Bodley, the Jamaican actor, comedian, and social media personality, was voted Jamaican Social Media Person of the Year for 2021 at the Best of Jamaica Awards. She brings her humor, performing arts expertise, mental health (#ad) advocacy, and passion for the Caribbean to Nevis. The authority expressed their eagerness to welcome her to the island.
Bodley will host the opening day of Mango Lime at the Indian Castle Fruit Orchard on June 30, 2023. On July 1, she will dine at the Mt. Nevis Hotel for the Supper Club event, and on July 2, she will host the ‘For Love of Mangoes Day’ at The Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park.
During her stay, Juliet will explore the island and enjoy mango-infused meals at some of Nevis’s best restaurants and cafes. The Nevis Tourism Authority believes that the combination of the Mango Festival and Julie Mango perfectly highlights the island’s heritage and its variety of mangoes. The festival is sponsored by the Nevis Mango Festival, Nevis Tourism Authority, and Bank of Nevis International Ltd.
