JetBlue Expands Service To The Federation
JetBlue Airways announced on Tuesday a new nonstop flight service from New York to The Federation of St. Kitts – Nevis.
The budget airline is expanding its service in the Caribbean and Gulf regions by adding two new destinations: Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport (SKB) in St. Kitts and Nevis, and Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City, Belize.
Flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to these destinations will begin soon. With this expansion, JetBlue will operate in 27 countries in the region. The airline will now serve 29 countries from JFK and will offer up to 192 daily departures during peak travel periods.
Service to St. Kitts will start on November 2, with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Flight 2967 will depart from JFK at 8:29 AM and land in St. Kitts at 2:14 PM. The return flight, number 2968, will leave St. Kitts at 3:30 PM and arrive back in New York at 7:00 PM.
Terrance Drew, the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, expressed excitement about the new route. He said, “We welcome JetBlue’s announcement of nonstop, three-times-weekly service from New York to St. Kitts as a sign of growing interest in our beautiful island. This new service will increase air travel capacity, support tourism, and boost our economy. We look forward to a strong partnership with JetBlue as we aim to make our nation a top tourism destination.”
JetBlue will also offer a similar flight service to Belize.
