Nevis Has A New Sports Bar and Grill – 869
Premier Brantley joined Deputy Premier Evelyn at the grand opening of 869 Sports Bar and Grill in Gingerland. He congratulated local investor Sean Rawlins and his team for their confidence in the local economy.
Premier Brantley praised the event, saying, “Some have argued that the investors are out at sea. Well, one by one, they are coming ashore. Praise be to God.”
The grand opening took place over the weekend from Friday, May 26 to Sunday, May 28, with free admission for visitors.
On Friday, May 26, entertainment was provided by SSS Sensia, Bobby & Toby, and the Grandmasters Band. A welcome party for overseas drag racers was also held.
On Saturday, May 27, Garlic, DJ Smudge, and SSS Sensia entertained the crowd. On Sunday, May 28, Toby and Bobby and The Kore Band performed live.
Deputy Premier Eric Evelyn, the parliamentary representative for Gingerland, had the honor of cutting the ribbon. After the ceremony, he said, “What a vibe it was at the grand opening of 869 Sports Bar and Grill in Gingerland on Saturday, May 27, 2023. There was good company, great music, and a fantastic ambiance.”
“I was privileged to cut the ribbon for this establishment. Huge congratulations to Sean Rawlins for his confidence in investing in Gingerland and for creating such a high-class sports bar. Welcome to Gingerland,” added Evelyn.
Several citizens also congratulated Sean Rawlins on his new business. “Hey Eric, that sounds great; I’m looking forward to my next visit to that bar and grill,” wrote Carlyle Byron.
“Congratulations, Sean. God bless your business as it continues to grow. I pray for protection around your property and the entire Gingerland community,” added Patricia Hanley.
