Breadfruit In Their Natural State
Breadfruit Salad Recipe – Nevis Style

Ingredients:
4 slices of breadfruit 1 green pepper, chopped
1 small onion, grated
6 red seasoning peppers, finely chopped
2 yolks of hard boiled eggs
1/4 Teaspoon garlic powder
3 Tablespoons mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons Ranch salad dressing
1 Teaspoon mustard
1/2 Teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
Cooking Method:
Peel and cut the breadfruit into chunks. Wash thoroughly, then put to boiling salted water and cook for 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool. Add onions, green pepper, seasoning pepper and mix thoroughly. Mash the egg yolks and sprinkle over mixed ingredients. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and chill. Serve when chilled, about 10-15 minutes. Serves 8
