St. Kitts and Nevis and the Netherlands will soon begin bi-lateral talks for the exchange of information in the area of financial services.

This was one of the issues discussed Wednesday afternoon between St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas and Dutch Ambassador to the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency Hans P.P.M. Horbach.

Prime Minister Douglas told the visiting Dutch diplomat who is based in Trinidad and Tobago that similar agreements will be pursued with other European nations including Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

The upcoming Summit of the Americas, the possibility of joint Coast Guard operations to combat the illegal entry of small arms, the international global crisis, climate change and energy security and alternative energy were also discussed.
