Violent Crime and Drugs Still A Problem

The police have made a number of arrests in matters they are investigating, they are as follows:

On Sunday 28th February 2010 at approximately 4:10 am police formally arrested and charged Shamon Herbert of Taylors Village without a warrant for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. The offence was committed at a Night Club in the Bird Rock area on 28-2-2010.

On Saturday 27th February 2010 at approximately 7:30 am police formally arrested and charged Lincoln Liburd of Lime Kiln without a warrant for Being Found in an Enclosed Premises and Carrying Abroad an Offensive Weapon. The offence was committed at the Mc Knight Day Care Centre on 27-2-2010.

On Saturday 27th February 2010 police formally arrested and charged Clexston Phillip of Sandy Point on a Warrant in the First Instance for the offence of Robbery. The offence was committed on 14-2-2010.

On Tuesday 2nd March 2010 police formally arrested and charged Leon Didder and Tayan Wilkin both of New Castle on Warrants in the First Instance on two counts each for Wounding Jermaine Freeman of Rawlins and Travis Hanley of Halfway Tree, St. Kitts but sometimes resides at Rawlins, Nevis, for Wounding with intent to Commit Murder. The offence was committed at Zion, Nevis on 20-2-2010 at between 4:30 and 4:50 am approximately.
