Subject: Athletes to compete at Hampton Games

Date: 15th May, 2008

Three SKNAAA Athletes left the Federation today May 15, 2008 to compete in the 2008 Hampton Games in Trinidad, over the period 16th to 18th May 2008. The athletes are Leron Ponteen who would be competing in the 400 hurdles; Leron would be competing  to attain the qualifying standard for the NACAC under 23 Championships in Toluca, Mexico, July 18th to 20th 2008. Delwayne Delaney would be competing in the 100m and 200m, while Enoete Inanga would compete in the 200m and 400m. 

Both Delaney and Ianaga are competing to gain the qualifying standards for the Olympic Games in Beijing China, August 8th to 25th 2008.

The entire Executive of the SKNAAA wishes the athletes all the best as they pursue their quest for supremacy on the track 

In related track and field news the SKNAAA along with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) would celebrate World Athletic Day with a Track meet at the Sliver Jubilee Track and Field Stadium on Sunday 18th May starting at 2.00pm.
