The Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Joseph Parry, says he is pleased that Brown Hill Communications Ltd has employed close to 80 persons since its inception on Nevis.
Premier Parry made the statement at the recent Launch of the Brown Hill Communications Call Center.
Said Premier Parry: “Although the Brown Hill Communications Ltd, has not yet been in operation for a year, it will employ almost 100 persons by December. This is just another example of the Nevis Reformation Party led Nevis Island Administration’s commitment to bring economic growth and employment to the people of Nevis.”
“I am proud that this company has chosen Nevis; and I am proud of all that the Nevis Reformation Party has achieved in such short time,” commented Premier Parry.
During the launching ceremony, Deputy Premier and Minister of Trade and Industry the Hon. Hensley Daniel said that he welcomed the partnership of Brown Hill Communications Ltd. He also had high praise for the Hon. Joseph Parry and his Government for attracting such a reputable, International Company.
Meanwhile, as part of the Brown Hill Communications Call Center’s commitment to giving back to the community, the center made donations to three educational institutions in the St. John’s area.
Team Manager, Ms. Tessa Howell said the donations of DVD players, the Nintendo Wii game player and ten computers are donated to the Special Education Unit in order to help empower children with the gift of learning.
Since the company’s inception, the Brown Hill Communications Ltd has made many significant donations, including book bags, T-shirts and other school supplies to the Special Education Unit at Prospect.
