Oualie Beach Hotel

Oualie Beach Hotel
 Oualie Beach Resort Hotel

Anybody who has visited my web site, knows that The Oualie Beach Hotel is my absolute favorite place on Nevis to visit.  On my very first  visit to Nevis I fell in love with the beach, food, drinks, and most importantly the staff at Oualie….not to mention the “regulars” who hang out here.  To me Oualie says “Nevis”!  From the “locals”, ex-pats, tourists, and frequent visitors to Nevis that drop in to Oualie, you can really get a view of what Nevis is all about.  This is a place not to be missed on your visit to Nevis!

This is what the owners, John and Alastair Yearwood have to say….Oualie Beach Resort is a very unique Caribbean experience. The property is owned by the Yearwood family of Nevis whose ancestors came to the Caribbean from the UK in 1650.

The Hotel is right on the beach and has just 32 rooms located in gingerbread Caribbean style cottages a mere 40 to 60 feet from the beach.

All the rooms face the beach with breath taking views of sunset and the neighbouring Island of Saint Kitts just 2 miles across the water. The legendary Green Flash is a common sight as the last edge of the sun dips beneath the horizon.

Oualie bay is a calm, shallow, sheltered cove. Children and the less efficient swimmers feel safe and at ease in the water.
