Nevis leave for Antigua today with an injury-cloud hanging over several of their players ahead of their first Stanford 20/20 match against Montserrat on Friday, February 8.
Batsmen Shervin Woodley and Marvin Hamilton, along with the 17-year-old seamer Nelson Boland are set to take MRI [Magnetic Resonance Imaging] scans with injuries to their rotary cuff, wrist, and back respectively. The other injury concerns are allrounders Ian Byron and Daynason Browne, both of whom have sore ankles.

The St. Kitts Music Festival Committee is continuously exploring ways to boost private sector involvement and fan experience. Unoma Allen believes that the addition of two new attractions can achieve both.
During an SKNIS interview, Allen, who serves on the Media Relations Committee of the Music Festival, said that the recent organized visit to the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival provided the inspiration for what she thinks can be a hit locally.
The first idea is the introduction of a secondary stage. This stage will be strategically positioned to draw the attention of fans during band changeovers. The showcase of local talent – which is one of the goals of the festival – on this stage, makes the prospect even more appealing.

Recruitment is underway in St. Kitts and Nevis for 50 young persons who can benefit from a project geared to empower them through entrepreneurship training in the fields of Tourism and Heritage.
Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO Mr. Antonio Maynard has announced that plans are underway for the launch of Phase II of the UNESCO Youth Path Project which is geared to alleviate poverty through tourism and heritage training. He also revealed that Director of the UNESCO Caribbean Office Kwame Boafo will officiate at the launch scheduled for February 26th, 2008.
Mr. Maynard said project coordinators in St. Kitts and Nevis are in the process of recruiting employed and unemployed candidates between the ages of 15-25 who have an interest in the tourism industry and heritage preservation.
