Meantime, Public Relations Officer of the Nevis Renal Society Florene Williams extended best wishes to the retired educator, as she presented the donation, in the form of a cheque, to his brother and retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Joseph Liburd.

“We hope that everything will be going well for him”¦I wouuld like to thank the general public for supporting us in our ongoing events and we’re looking forward to having our gala dinner November the 2nd [at The Occasions] and we’re looking forward to your support as usual so we could continue to help our loved ones in time of need,” Williams said.

As former ACP Liburd accepted the donation, he pledged his continued support and that of his family to the fundraising endeavours of the Nevis Renal Society.

“On behalf of Conrad Liburd and his entire family, I wish to say thanks to the Renal Society for giving us this donation. I think and I know that it will come in very handy for the help of Conrad. He has been improving greatly, thanks to God and to all who have helped,” he said.
