Dr. Michael Ozner To Speak In St. Kitts

Concerned about the health of the nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis, Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas, has invited a Miami cardiologist to lecture on what’s wrong with cardiovascular care in the Caribbean.
Author and Miami cardiologist Dr. Michael Ozner will lecture this coming Friday 10th July on how one can prevent, reverse and eradicate heart attack, stroke, hypertension and diabetes.
Prime Minister Douglas and President and CEO of Baptist Health South Florida and Honorary Consul General for St. Kitts and Nevis in Florida, Brian E. Keeley will host the event at the St. Kitts Marriott, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Dr. Ozner is author of his most recent book The Great American Heart Hoax, which offers groundbreaking truths about what helps prevent, eradicate and reverse heart disease. His other books include .Prevent Your First Heart Attack and The Miami Mediterranean Diet.
“Dr. Ozner has long been an advocate for giving people the information they need to make wise choices both to prevent heart disease from developing, as well as about the best, most effective options for treating heart disease,” said Mr. Keeley. “It is Baptist Health’s honour to offer an opportunity for the people of St. Kitts and Nevis to share information with physicians such as Dr. Ozner at community events such as these.”

Dr. Ozner is a renowned pioneer in the field of preventive cardiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School Medicine, and pursued a cardiology fellowship from Stanford University in California. A board-certified cardiologist, Dr. Ozner is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the American Heart Association. He is Medical Director of Wellness and Prevention at Baptist Health South Florida, the largest and most-respected nonprofit healthcare organization in South Florida.
