The 77,713-ton Celebrity left the Port of Baltimore, Maryland on Monday night on a cruise that includes a stop at St. Kitts’ Port Zante.

The cruise liner sailed down the Chesapeake Monday evening, heading for a 12-night Eastern Caribbean route that includes St. Thomas, St. Kitts, St. Maarten and Antigua.

The ship docks at Port Zante this coming Sunday 15th November from 8:00 A.M. and to 5:00 P.M.

MV Celebrity Mercury is a Century class cruise ship owned and operated by Celebrity Cruises. Built in 1997, the Bahamas-registered MV Mercury has a passenger capacity of 2,681 passengers.

The Mercury will make a total of 10 visits to St. Kitts during the 2009/2010 cruise ship season. Two sister ships of the Mercury ““ the Solstice and the Equinox ““ are also scheduled to visit St. Kitts in the current cruise ship season.
