Grenada’s New PM – Tilman Thomas

Grenada’s new Prime Minister the Hon. Tillman Thomas has been assured of an excellent working relationship with the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas.
In a congratulatory message to the new Grenadian Prime Minister, Dr. Douglas told the National Democratic Congress leader, that his resounding victory at the July 8th polls “gives you a very strong mandate to serve and lead the people of Grenada and the wider Caribbean region.”
“I extend to you and your new Government best wishes as you now take up the task of further advancing the lives of all citizens of a developing Grenada in this era of grave global challenges and the continued thrust towards building and fortifying our own Caribbean Civilization,” said Prime Minister Douglas.
Dr. Douglas said he looked forward to an excellent working relationship with the new Grenadian leader and his Government “as we work to forge newer and deeper relations between our two countries in the cause of protecting and advancing our Caribbean peoples.”
“May your service to the people of your country and the region be characterised by success,” concluded Dr. Douglas’ congratulatory message to Prime Minister Thomas.
