Fashions by John Warden – Island to Island Designs
The Nevis Historical & Conservation Society held its 10th annual fashion show at the very scenic Mt. Nevis Hotel this past Sunday. John Warden and his staff put on a fabulous final performance at this year’s show. John has been collaborating with NHCS over the past 10 years thanks to an idea by Mrs. Maureen Lupinacci. This year’s show topped them all, from the beautifully designed clothes; gorgeous and graceful models; a great setting and great music and accommodations. This was our largest crowd, as many of John Warden’s friends and fans came to wish him well. There were well over 300 people in attendance. The proceeds from the show go towards the general operation of the Society. We would like to thank all of our many friends, members and sponsors for their donations as you all helped to make this event very successful. The fashion show committee and volunteer models once again did an outstanding job.
Ms. Patricia Walters, CE of Cable & Wireless St. Kitts & Nevis Ltd. clearly demonstrated her full support of the Nevis Historical & Conservation Society at its final John Warden fashion show on Sunday afternoon, by donating a Motorola PEBL phone to the event. A special raffle was held where attendees were asked to pay EC$1.00 per ticket. Representing Ms. Walters at the event were VP Nevis Operations, Mr. Jerome Rawlins and Corporate Account Manager, Mrs. Pam Martin. Special thanks were extended to Cable & Wireless St. Kitts & Nevis Ltd. by Chair of the organizing committee Ms. Tessa Howell as the special raffle brought in an additional EC$335.00 for the NHCS.
