The Electoral Office is encouraging all persons who have been confirmed or have registered as voters by October 31, 2009 and have not collected their National Identification Cards, to do so at the earliest convenience.
The cards can be collected at the Electoral Office, Central Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts and the Electoral Office, Chapel Street, Charlestown, Nevis. The Electoral Office on both islands will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday and Saturday 16 and 23 January from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Office will be open on the two mentioned Saturdays solely for issuing National ID Cards.
All persons confirmed or registered to vote in the upcoming St. Kitts and Nevis General Elections on January 25, 2010, have to bring their National Identification Cards with them, to the polling station at which they are to vote.
