The Eva Wilkin Gallery

The Eva Wilkin Gallery is located in an 18th century windmill at Clay Ghaut Estate.  It was here that Eva Wilkin lived her long and productive life after studying art in England.

She sketched and painted the wonderful views, the people, and the flowers of Nevis with great skill, insight and affection, becoming known throughout the West Indies and abroad.  She received the Member of The British Empire Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the cultural life of Nevis and the area.  Her work is found in public and private collections in many parts of the world.

Until her death in 1989 visitors were welcomed by the artist to view her work at her mill studio.  We are proud to continue that tradition.

The Eva Wilkin Gallery presents a permanent exhibition of drawings and paintings by Eva Wilkin.  Fine quality reproductions of many of the works are available.

The work of Nevisian and visiting artists is featured in individual and group shows throughout the season.
Signed and numbered prints of selected works are available in limited, collector-editions.These editions are produced to the highest standards using museum-quality, acid free papers, fade-resistant inks and the finest printing available in Britain and North America.

Authentic antique maps and prints of the West Indies will be presented, as available, as well as fine reproductions of historical items.

The gallery shop offers a selection of quality paper items including postcards, greetings cards, book marks, etc. featuring motifs by local artists.
