The Governor General of St. Kitts and Nevis, His Excellency, Dr. Sir Cuthbert Sebastian has appointed a five”“man Constituencies Boundaries Commission.

St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas at his monthly Press Conference on Wednesday said that the Federation’s Governor General “acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister after the Governor General consulted with the Leader of the Opposition, the Hon. Mark Brantley, and such other persons, appointed Mr. Anthony Johnson as Chairman of the Constituencies Boundaries Commission.”

“I also wish to inform you that on my advice as Prime Minister, the Governor General has appointed the Hon. Cedric Liburd and Dr. the Hon. Earl Asim Martin as members of the said Commission,” said Dr. Douglas.

St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas is praising incoming Labour Party candidate Glenn “Ghost” Phillip for answering the call to serve the residents and work with the young people of Constituency # 4 and the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“I spoke with him a few months ago. He is now demonstrating his readiness to serve by opening his own constituency office and joining with the sitting Parliamentary Representative, the Hon. Rupert Herbert, to serve the people of this constituency,” said Prime Minister Douglas, who spoke on Saturday at the official opening of the office on Main Street, Old Road.

Prime Minister Douglas described the incoming candidate as “a young man who is kind, fair, giving, respectable and wanted in Constituency #4.”

Prime Minister Douglas said recent surveys have indicated that a majority of the people in Constituency # 4 “favour Glenn “Ghost” Phillip as the next Parliamentary Representative.”
