Henley & Partners has exercised a high level of corporate responsibility with the adoption of the St. Paul’s Primary school in St. Kitts – Nevis.
The adoption signifies the support of Henley and Partners to the St. Paul’s Primary School in order topromote education for all by sponsoring children from socially challenged backgrounds.
Minister of Education and Information, Hon. Nigel Carty, in his remarks, stated that while it is Government’s responsibility to deal with public schools it is beyond their capacity to meet all the emerging needs of the school in the modern era. For this reason they are constantly seeking the help of outside parties who are interested in the transformative power of education.
“On this occasion and instance we are extremely delighted that Henley and Partners a well established and well recognized, highly successful and highly respected firm has seen the need for value and has seen the value in making a concrete tangible contribution to the ongoing efforts at sustaining and improving the viability and success of our thrust of strengthening the education sector and its outcomes. Secondly it recognizes and now seeks to support in a way the St. Pauls Primary School in its tremendous strides and accomplishments particularly in the fields of academics, sports and extracurricular activities.”
The Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas, Prime Minister and Parliamentary Representative for Constituency #6, expressed gratitude to Henley and Partner’s for helping to improve the school.
“This is a historic school as the first national hero came from here and I didn’t like what I was seeing. Therefore I am glad that we have been able to call to attention Henley and Partners to help us.”
The goal of the Ministry of Education is to facilitate a lifelong learning process by providing institutions, programmes and resources necessary for citizens to acquire knowledge over a lifetime. To date the Ministry has built seventeen (17) primary schools, one of which is the St. Paul’s Primary School.
