Ten thousand cruise ship passengers visited St. Kitts since the start of the year.

The St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) reports 10,152 passengers were aboard six ships between Saturday 2nd January and Monday 4th January.

The 3,473-passenger Carnival Victory arrived January 2nd with 3,224 passengers and a crew of 1058 from Antigua and sailed afterwards for Puerto Rico. Also visiting on Saturday was the Wind Spirit with 147 passengers and a crew of 95.

Two ships arrived on Sunday 3rd January with a total of 2,820 cruise passengers and 1551 passengers. The 1,627-passenger Maasdam arrived from St. Maarten with 1229 passengers and 982 crew and then sailed for Puerto Rico. The 1,692-passenger Ocean Village arrived from St. Maarten with 1,591 passengers and 569 crew. It sailed Sunday night for Antigua.

Monday 4th, two ships with a total of 3,961 passengers and 1,573 crew members docked at Port Zante.

The 3,100-passger capacity Ventura arrived from Barbados with 3,058 crew and 1203 passengers and will sail for Tortola. Arriving from Santo Domingo was the 821-passenger Braemar with 903 passengers and 370 crew on board. The Braemar is to depart for Martinique.

The Summit and the Millennium, each with a capacity of 3,100 passengers will dock at Port Zante on Tuesday. The Royal Clipper arrives on Wednesday; the Norwegian Dawn on Thursday, the Thomson Destiny and Island Star and Carnival Victory on Saturday.
