Wednesday’s visit to St. Kitts by three cruise ships puts the number of passengers for the week to over eleven thousand five hundred passengers, and with six more ships scheduled between Thursday and Saturday with just over 12,200 passengers, the total number of cruise passengers expected this week will jump to  23,860 cruise passengers.

The parade of cruise ships began Sunday with the visit of two ships – the 3,597-passenger capacity Azura with 3,151 passengers and the 308-passenger Wind Spirit with 140 persons.

On Tuesday, the 2,501-passenger capacity Serenade of the Seas arrived with 2,109 passengers and the 308-passenger capacity Wind Surf with 293 passengers.

Three ships graced the Port of Basseterre on Wednesday with a total of 5,960 passengers. The 2,850-passenger capacity Celebrity Equinox brought 2,887 passengers; 2,867 passengers were onboard the 2,850-passenger capacity Celebrity Solstice and the 208-passenger capacity Seabourne Legend docked at the Deep Water Port with 206 passengers.

Between Sunday and Wednesday, seven cruise ships arrived with a total of 11,653 passengers.

The 2,224-passenger capacity Norwegian Dawn and the 170-passenger Star Clipper dock at Port Zante on Thursday; the 1,664-passenger capacity Thomson Destiny and the 3,085 passenger capacity Carnival Victory on Friday and on Saturday, the 1,950-passenger capacity Sea Princess and 3,114-passenger capacity Explorer of the Seas.
