More job opportunities for over 100 young persons in St. Kitts and Nevis as the local economy continues to grow.

Cabinet under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas has approved the establishment of a 150-seat call centre to be located in the Standford Building near the roundabout at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport in St. Kitts. The building was first earmarked for the Headquarters of Caribbean Star.

“The call centre will be operated by International Market Access Ltd that also operates call center operations in Barbados and Antigua. The operation will offer a number of specialized services and over 100 young persons will receive special training to handle customer services issues in the disciplines of internet service provision, financial services, airline reservations, telecoms, back office computing operations, and debt management,” Minister of State for Information and Technology, Sen. the Hon. Nigel Carty.

“Cabinet wishes to encourage young talented men and women to make use of the employment opportunities when they become available,” said Sen. Carty following Monday’s routine Cabinet Meeting.
