St. Kitts and Nevis‘ Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas is leading a three-member delegation to the 13th Special Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) on April 5th.
The Fifth Meeting of the Council of Ministers responsible for National Security and Law Enforcement will be held on April 3 and 4.
The other members of the St. Kitts and Nevis delegation are Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Hon. Dennis Merchant and Permanent Secretary in the Minister of National Security, Immigration and Labour, Mrs. Astona Browne.
The Conference will be chaired by the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, the Rt. Hon. Hubert A. Ingraham.
The Informal Session of the Meeting on Friday 4th April and the formal Session on Crime and Security on Saturday, 5th April at the Hilton Trinidad Conference Centre.
It will discuss several issues concerning the rise in crime in the Caribbean and look at the strategies and recommendations submitted by the police and defence force chiefs of the Caribbean.
