Latest Murder Was A Shooting Victim

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at about 9:40 pm on February 6th 2009 at Saddlers Village. Investigations reveal so far that Shawn “˜X-man’ Williams, 34 of West Farm was walking along a road in an area known as Plough Ground when he was attacked by two men who fired shots at him. He turned around and began to run away, but was pursued by the men who continued shooting at him. He was shot and subsequently taken to the JNF Hospital by the EMS, where he later died.
Two persons are in custody assisting with the investigations. The Police are appealing to any person who may have information on this crime to call the St. Pauls Police Station at telephone number 465-6281, or the crime hotline at 707. Information received will be held in strict confidence.
