On Thursday 3rd February, 2011 police in District “B” made a number of arrest in furtherance to the Robbery investigation of the Coaster bus that was robbed on its way to Brimstone Hill with tourist on Sunday 14th November 2011. The persons arrested are as follows:

George Welsh alias “Naddy” of Sandy Point

Delvin Francis alias “Sobie” of St. Paul’s

Both were formally arrested, charged and cautioned on sixteen (16) Warrants in the First Instance for aiding and abetting the commission of the said Robbery and were subsequently remanded to H.M. Prisons. Also, in relation to the said Robbery there are like warrants in existence for the arrest of Elroy Williams alias “Stannie” and Junior Sobratie alias “Q” both of Sandy Point but who are presently remanded at H.M. Prisons on Robbery charges. Investigations are ongoing.

In relation to the Robbery of TDC Sandy Point Branch on Friday 29th October 2010, police in the District “B” area made an arrest on Friday 4th February 2011. The arrested person is as follows:

Leslian Daniel alias Sexman an adult of Sandy Point

Daniel was formally arrested, charged and cautioned on a Warrant in the First Instance for aiding and abetting the commission of the said Robbery and was then remanded to H.M. Prisons. Also, in relation to the said TDC Sandy Point Branch Robbery, there are like warrants in existence for the arrest of Elroy Williams alias “Stannie” and Junior Sobratie alias “Q” both of Sandy Point but who are presently remanded at H.M. Prisons on Robbery charges. Investigations are ongoing.
