World Travel Awards Gives Nod To St Kitts – Nevis
St. Kitts and Nevis have been nominated for four World Travel Awards in 2023. The Ministry of Tourism is encouraging everyone to vote for the destination (#ad), with the voting open until July 9, 2023.
My St. Kitts announced on Facebook, “We’re excited to share that St. Kitts has been nominated for four World Travel Awards in 2023. Voting is open now through July 9, 2023.”
St. Kitts boasts intoxicating natural beauty, sunny skies, white sands, and warm waters, making it one of the most magnificent spots in the Caribbean.
The four nominations for St. Kitts are:
1. Caribbean’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination 2023
2. Caribbean’s Leading Cultural Destination 2023
3. Caribbean’s Leading Dine Destination 2023
4. Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board 2023
Known for its stunning sights and breathtaking views, St. Kitts and Nevis offer some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean. Although two separate islands, they form one federation, separated by a mere two-mile stretch of water.
Visitors to St. Kitts can enjoy the island’s unique features like warm, clear waters and black sand beaches. The black sand is a result of volcanic ash from the dormant volcano on Nevis, which is so close that some think they could swim to it. The locals are extremely friendly, and the island retains its natural beauty with green, forested mountains home to wild monkeys, which visitors are advised to view from a distance.
A must-see natural wonder is at Timothy Hill, where the island offers views of both the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. This sight alone makes a return visit worthwhile, along with a boat trip to Nevis. St. Kitts also boasts the best port, with a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and a pool, making it a favorite docking spot for visitors.
