The Ministry of Education is inviting applications for secondary school teaching positions in the subject areas of English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, French, Spanish, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Information Technology. Successful applicants must be prepared to commence work from September 1, 2011.
Qualifications should include a pass in English Language at CSEC General Proficiency Level and above and at least a first degree in the specific subject area. A CAPE Associate Degree in Computer Science, Environmental Science, Natural sciences or Mathematics and a Trained Teacher Certificate would be asset.
Application deadline is Monday, May 30, 2011. Submissions must include a resume or curriculum vitae, the names and addresses of two references and certified copies of certificates. The applications can be hand-delivered or mailed to The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Information, P.O. Box 333, Church Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts.
While all applicants will be acknowledged, shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further consideration.
