History will be made here next week when recruits of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and the St. Kitts – Nevis Fire and Rescue Services will be graduating at the same ceremony.
The passage of Hurricane Omar last Thursday led to the postponement of the Graduation Ceremony for the new fire officers so their graduation has been combined with the 36th Passing out Parade of the police force next week Tuesday 28th October.
Fourteen fire officers and 22 police recruits will “pass out” during the ceremony at the Police Training Complex which stars at 4:30 P.M.
Governor General His Excellency Dr. Sir Cuthbert Sebastian will take the salute during the March Past. Prime Minister Douglas is to give the feature address.
