St. Kitts Music Festival Celebrates 25 Years
The 25th St. Kitts Music Festival is set to deliver an unforgettable experience, according to organizers. During a press conference at the Marriott on Monday, event organizers and stakeholders came together to outline what attendees can expect this year.
Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson emphasized that the music festival is more than just a concert. “While it’s run under the Ministry of Entertainment, it falls under the Ministry of Tourism for a reason. The festival is designed to attract visitors to our destination, and it’s working—flights are fully booked,” she explained. “The goal is to stimulate economic activity for our people. It’s not just about the music; it’s about showcasing our country and bringing in tourism revenue. We want everyone to be on their best behavior to make this a successful event.”
Minister Henderson also urged the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis to warmly welcome festival-goers, treating them like guests in their own homes. “We hope our visitors will explore everything our island has to offer. We encourage them to visit our beaches, support our restaurants and hotels, and fully immerse themselves in the local culture and attractions,” she added.
