Caribbean Golf Youth Championship 2023
The Royal St Kitts Golf Club is delighted to announce that junior golfer Clayton Harridyal will be participating in the Caribbean Junior Golf Championship. The event will take place in Barbados from April 11th to 14th. Clayton has previously represented St Kitts in a lower age group in 2019, emerging victorious in his category, and is now eager to face the competition and display his skills on the course.
As a member of the Royal St Kitts Golf Club, Clayton has been diligently training. He recently triumphed in the April Monthly Medal competition, achieving the low gross with a score of 69 and outperforming other local talents. Club President Mr. Zeke Percival personally presented Clayton with his prize for winning the low gross, as well as contributing to his tournament entry fee and other expenses.
“Clayton is already a winner in our eyes, and we have full confidence that he will bring home the trophy,” stated President Percival. The Executive of the Royal St Kitts Golf Club (#ad) and its members extend their best wishes for Clayton’s success and eagerly anticipate welcoming him back to the federation with the winner’s trophy. “We all support Clayton and will cheer him on at every stage. He is a true ambassador for the sport of golf and for St Kitts and Nevis,” added President Percival.
The Royal St Kitts Golf Club invites anyone interested in introducing their children to the sport to contact the club. With the emergence of talented players like Clayton, the future of the game in St Kitts appears promising.
