The Tax Reform Unit of the Ministry of Finance invites the General Public to a Value Added Tax (VAT) Meet and Greet on the corner of Fort and Prince’s Streets from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 07, 2010. Due to difficulties resulting from the loss of electricity, the previous Meet and Greet came to an early end.
Residents who may have missed the previous opportunity to become more informed about VAT, are encouraged to stop by, under the tent on Fort Street to get leaflets and brochures on the workings of VAT and VAT procedures, among other informational material. Staff from the Tax Reform Unit will also be on hand to answer questions between 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 07, 2010.
A VAT Meet and Greet will also be taking place at the same time, that is, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 07 at the Charlestown Memorial Square, Nevis.
