Man From Nevis Fired Upon By Two Unkown Men

At approximately 8:28 pm on Tuesday 17th November 2009, the Police at the Tabernacle Police Station received a report of a shots fired in Molineux. Police from the Tabernacle Police Station, Strike Force and SSU responded immediately and was on the scene in minutes. Enquiries revealed that a twenty (20) years old man from Nevis was travelling along the road in the vicinity of the Mary Charles Hospital at Molineux, on route to visit his girlfriend in the same village, when two (2) mask men fired multiple gunshots at him.
The victim managed to escape unharmed and subsequently gave a detailed statement to the police. No suspect(s) have been identified and investigations are ongoing.
