Saint Kitts – Nevis 10th Annual Music Festival Begins

The St. Kitts Music Festival 10th Anniversary kicked off with a bang. The explosive concert was held at the newly renovated Warner Park Complex, which hosted the festival for the first time. Thursday June 29, was dubbed the “Soca night” and featured the very best artists in the Calypso and Soca arena. A wide variety of fireworks lighting up the skies and was loud enough for every to hear from all over opened the night.

The evening lineup included some present and past calypso kings of St. Kitts and Nevis including King Dis N Dat and Meeko of Nevis. King Socrates and King Konris Maynard of St. Kitts who were all backed by the Legends Band. The Calypsonians all gave stellar performances and were well received by the crowd.
