Charlestown, Nevis- March 26, 2007The Premier of Nevis, Hon. Joseph Parry will be the first guest of a new program entitled “The People’s Talk” which will air on Wednesday’s following the Nevis Newscast on Nevis Television (NTV) and on VON Radio on Monday evenings at 8 pm.
“I am happy about this new program and I feel that the people of Nevis will enjoy viewing themselves, friends and family members discuss the topics that affect all of us here in Nevis. I am also delighted that the producer of the program will seek honest answers from all members of the community, despite their political affiliations, said Premier Parry”
The 10 minute program produced and hosted by Press Secretary to the Premier, Mrs. Deli Caines Bussue will deal with topics that the residents of Nevis are talking about.As part of the programming; the show will go to the streets of Nevis to get various views about the show’s weekly topics, talk to government ministers, directors of government departments or a specific official depending on the subject matter.
The mission of the show will be to inform, educate, and reveal the transparency of the government and a chance for residents of Nevis to air their views.
In related news, On Wednesday, March 20th, viewers of Nevis Television saw a 30 minute documentary about Phase III of the Nevis road construction presently being composed by Surrey Paving, a Caribbean road paving company.
The program discussed a short history about Surrey Paving, what construction will be done to the road from St. James- Market shop and who the key players in the assembling of the roads will be.
Both programs will rebroadcast on Nevis Television (NTV) this week.
