The Vervain Mill is located on nearly two acres of land on the southeast side of Nevis, part way up the hill toward Nevis Peak, where ocean breezes cool and refresh. Built during the days of grand sugar cane plantations, it was originally a working, wind-powered mill for processing sugar cane. The property now includes three bedrooms, three baths, swimming pool, gazebo, architectural ruins, sweeping views, and lots of privacy.
The first level includes two large bedrooms – one with a queen size bed and one with twin beds. Each has French doors opening to the lawn and pool, and each has a private bath.
The stonewalled main floor of the tower includes kitchen, indoor living/dining room opening onto a large wraparound terrace with sweeping views of the Atlantic (Montserrat and Antigua on clear days), and Nevis Peak.
The middle floor of the tower is an airy bedroom with a queen-size bed and private bath. The top floor of the tower has two day beds, a writing desk, and a walkout terrace overlooking the ocean.
