St. Kitts and Nevis’ leading law firm has returned home to Independence Square South.

The Chambers of Kelsick, Wilkin & Ferdinand has relocated from The Sands Complex, Bay Road, Basseterre, to its newly built Fred Kelsick Building, on the site of the 100 year old building which the firm had occupied prior to its move to The Sands in 2006.

The historic building was demolished because its structure was compromised. The new building reproduces the architectural style of the old building.

A statement from the law firm said Kelsick, Wilkin & Ferdinand, whose practice dates back to 1947, has also upgraded its website kwfonline.com which now contains a 40-page International Guide to Doing Business in St. Kitts and Nevis.

“This document highlights some of the laws and practices applicable to starting and doing business on the two islands and gives foreign investors an introduction to the Federation. It will also benefit local investors,” said the company.

Senior Partner of the firm Mr. Charles L. A. Wilkin, CMG, QC, said that the firm is ever cognizant of the value to a developing country, which is heavily dependant on foreign investment, of legal practitioners who, by their competence, professionalism and integrity, engender confidence in investors.
