The Garden Showcase of the St. Peter’s Early Childhood Centre on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. on the Centre grounds, St. Peter’s which marks the start of the UNESCO Environment Online (ENO) Tree Planting and A Tree Planting Ceremony in commemoration of the Month of the Family on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Department of Community and Social Development grounds, Victoria Road

Both events are in commemoration of the Month of the Family in collaboration with the activities of ENO Tree Planting and will be used to highlight the multiple benefits of Family Gardening both as a family activity and as an avenue for food security for each household.

The Garden Showcase signifies the start of the ENO Tree Planting and will feature Jacqueline Christopher, Community Development Officer for Zone I and local ENO representative.  She will be joined by school administrators and students and will be on hand to answer several questions pertaining to Month of the Family and the Environment Online (ENO) tree planting project.

Minister responsible for Community and Social Development Honourable Marcella Liburd will plant the commemorative tree at the Department of Community and Social Development.
