Fort Street was transformed into Folklore Avenue as several groups performed the full length of the town’s main thoroughfare on Tuesday.

Several masquerade groups, moko jumbies, mummies and clowns performed for residents, shoppers, returning nationals and visitors including just over 4,000 from three cruise ships in port – the Serenade of the Seas and Arcadia at Port Zante and the Seabourne Pride at the Port Zante Deep Water Port.

The Serenade of the Seas docked with 2,409 passengers and 841 crew having arrived from St. Croix. It later sailed for Dominica. One thousand nine hundred and forty passengers and 869 crew were on board the Arcadia which arrived from Tortola and left for St. Lucia. Information on the Seabourne Pride was not readily available.
