Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Joseph Parry left the Federation Tuesday, as he has been invited to be the Keynote speaker at a Montreal St. Kitts-Nevis event on Sept. 26th and the International Mission in Virginia on September 29th.

The 2009 Independence Celebrations in Montreal, Canada will be commemorating the Association’s 39th year since its founding and 26 years of Independence for the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

President and Public Relations Officer of the St. Kitts and Nevis Cultural Association of Montreal, Mr. Constantine Greenaway said the momentous occasion will be commemorated with a dinner, show and dance.

Meanwhile, the Hon. Premier will speak before the organizers of International Missions in Virginia, who financially accommodated Mr. Parry’s trip.  He will thank them for their significant contribution of medical supplies over the years which were donated to the Alexandra Hospital and Health Centers around the island of Nevis.

The Premier is expected to be back in Nevis on October 1st, 2009.
