PM Douglas Lays Wreath At Bradshaw Grave

Top officials of the St. Kitts-Nevis Trades and Labour Union and the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party paid tribute to past stalwarts of the Labour Movement on Monday, Labour Day.
President of the St. Kitts – Nevis Trades and Labour Union, Mr. Clifford Thomas and National Political Leader of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party, the Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas visited the grave sites of National Heroes, Their Right Excellencies, Sir Robert L. Bradshaw, Sir C.A. Paul Southwell and Sir Joseph N. France where wreaths were laid.
Wreaths were also laid on the graves of the late Sir Lee Llewellyn Moore, the late Fitzroy Bryant, the late E. St. John Payne and the late Fidel O’Flaherty. Family members and the leadership of the St. Kitts-Nevis Trades and Labour Union and the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party participated.
Glowing tributes were paid to the stalwarts, architects of modern development in St. Kitts and Nevis for their sterling contribution in the economic, political and social development of the nation in the areas of leadership and the march towards political independence, finance, healthcare, tourism, social security, agriculture, education, light manufacturing, culture and trade unionism.
