Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Joseph Parry said that the Four Seasons Resort Nevis  stakeholders are eager to re-open the five”“star property.  He made the statement during a press conference last week, at the Bath Hotel.

He told the media officials that the Nevis Island Administration has assisted the resort’s opening by giving incentives and concessions of twenty years, which the Hon. Joseph Parry said had to be done, as the Four Seasons Resort has an unpaid loan of US$130 million.

“It was very important that the Nevis Island Administration offer attractive incentives to the Four Seasons, so that the hotel could get back on track and the residents of Nevis could receive full employment from the property once again,” said Premier Parry.

According to Mr. Parry, Nevis is a high-end destination and an ideal place for investment and development, even with the present global economy and financial downturn.

Premier Parry stated proudly that the Nevis Island Administration will continue to work on behalf of the people of Nevis by working closely with all parties to ensure that the Four Seasons Resort- Nevis reopens as soon as possible.
