Prime Minister Douglas With Kim Collins

St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister and Minister of Sports, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas has reiterated his government’s commitment and continued support to the Federation’s sprint icon Mr. Kim Collins.
Collins, who has just returned home since the Beijing Olympics and participation in several other international meets in Austria, the United Kingdom and Brussels, paid a courtesy call Wednesday afternoon on Prime Minister Douglas and Minister of State in the Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture, Sen. the Hon. Richard “Ricky” Skerritt.
Dr. Douglas complimented Mr. Collins on his recent accomplishments and spent several minutes discussing the outcome of the Beijing Olympics as well as other developments in track and field on the local, regional and international level.
“We appreciate all that you have done,” said Minister Skerritt in congratulating Mr. Collins. Senator Skerritt pledged his Ministry’s continued assistance and indicated that the Silver Jubilee Stadium, which houses the Kim Collins Pavilion, is available to him.
Mr. Collins thanked Prime Minister Douglas and Minister Skerritt for their support.
