Promotion of the 2013 St. Kitts Music Festival is expected to explode with excitement, when the four St. Kitts Music Festival Models are revealed in Nevis this coming Friday.
The action takes place in Charlestown, adjacent to the DR Walwyn Plaza, where the Nevis edition of the St. Kitts Music Festival Jump Off will be in full effect with Festival ticket giveaways, double top-ups from LIME, live entertainment and much more.
The Jump Off will promote the 2013 St. Kitts Music Festival, which takes place 29th to 30th June, with Lionel Richie headlining an impressive lineup of artists.
Chairperson of the Local Promotions Sub-Committee, Kirah Griffin said she is extremely excited about the event in Nevis.
“Nevis certainly will be the place to be this Friday, particularly since the 2013 St. Kitts Music Festival Models will be revealed for all to see and will make their first public appearance,” Griffin said. “I promise you these ladies are going to heat up the whole of Nevis with their charm, beauty and passion for the St. Kitts Music Festival.”
The event begins at 3pm and will be hosted by EK the Real Right of Freedom FM, with entertainment by Ali Dee, Delly Ranks, Odisi Band and DJ Wacky. Then on Monday 20th May, 2013 the Music Festival train will travel to Herbert’s Beach in Nevis, with more exciting giveaways starting at 1:00 pm.
A number of artists from Nevis are slated to perform at this year’s St. Kitts Music Festival and includes the Kore Band, featuring Gharlic and Ali Dee. Other local acts include Nu Vybes International, Grandmasters Band, Small Axe Band, Dejour, Dagah, Charles Emanuel and the Cayon Pantastics.
Also performing will be Beres Hammond, Shaggy, Konshens, Tessanne Chin, Bunji Garlin, Fay-Ann Lyons, Super Blue and others.
Now in its 17th year, the Festival attracts both locals and visitors alike. It features a wide range of musical styles on the popular market, including R&B, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Gospel and Contemporary music.
