Irveeka Nisbett – Beauty Contest Contestant

The 34th Edition of the Most Prestigious Show of it’s kind the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant may be the stage for another historic moment for the Pageant and the federation of St. Kitts – Nevis. 17 Year Old Irveeka Nisbett may make history by being the first Nevisian contestant to win the Caribbean;s premier Pageant.
Nisbett is a talented, ambituous student of the Charlestown Secondary School 6th form. She hails from the beautiful and quaint village of Church Ground, St. Johns Parish, Nevis. She is motivated by her mantra “hard work and perseverance always reap success”. She has a flair for the Performing Arts and is inspired to one day become a professional dancer.
Crowned as the first ever Ms Teen Nevis during the recently concluded Nevis Culturama Festival, Irveeka is well poised to demonstrate her talents, energetic and passionate nature on stage in her hope of becoming an ambassador for her country Nevis and becoming the first Nevisian representative to win the prestigious pageant.
According to show observers and historians Nisbett brings the right combination of talent, intellect and enthusiasm which all are essential characteristics of a successful Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Queen. Nisbett showed those characteristics in winning the first ever Miss Teen Nevis competition on Thursday August 1st 2013.
Nisbett earned the honour by outdoing her competitors in almost all of the segments.
The young beauty walked away with the win in four of the five-judged segments, with an overall total of 690 points. She won the Fanfare and Opening Number, Best Promotional Speech, Best Talent and Best Interview.
Hundreds of friends, family and the general Nevisian public are expected to make the short ferry journey to St.Kitts on Monday 30th to give support to Irveeka’s quest to make history.
