Marriott Vacation Club Announces Resort On Saint Kitts

Marriott Vacation Club International (MVCI), the vacation ownership division of Marriot International Inc. has announced the development and sales start of its first resort on Saint Kitts – Nevis.

Slated for occupancy in January 2007, Marriott’s St. Kitts Beach Club will be located on Property with the AAA Four Diamond ““ St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino. It is proposed to include 88, two ““ and three bedroom villas (at build-out).  Initial pricing ranges form $16, 400 to $69, 500 per week depending on season and floor plan selected.

“St. Kitts is a tremendous addition to our Caribbean Portfolio of Resorts,” said President of Marriott Vacation Club International, Mr. Stephen P. Weisz. “Our owners have made it clear that they enjoy vacationing in this destination, so we are pleased to deliver yet another oceanfront island experience to our nearly 312,000 owners.”

“Uniquely located on-property with the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & the Royal Beach Casino, the resort affords additional amenities and leisure opportunities for our owners and rental guest that will enhance the overall vacation experience,” said Weisz.

In eight, three story Garden Houses, the spacious villas will range in size from approximately 1,400 ““ 2,089 square feet designed with “island life” in mind utilizing a tropical color palette of orange, blues and greens with red accents and touches of yellow and gold.  Each villa will feature at least one private balcony or terrace offering stunning views from azure waters and pristine beaches to lush, tropical gardens and native vegetation.

Vacationers will savor the relaxing Caribbean spirit in a deep soaking tub in the master suite, as well as other villa features including a fully-equipped kitchen with GE stainless steel appliances and walnut finished cabinetry, tile floors and granite counter; generous living and dining areas; dish washers/dryers; oversized shower in master bedrooms; and Wi-Fi internet accessibility.  Three bedroom villas can accommodate up to 10 guests.

Numerous amenities and concierge services are offered through the St. Kitts Marriot Resort & The Royal Beach Casino.  Dine at a variety of restaurants catering to everyone’s taste such as fresh local seafood at Blu or fine “city-style” steak at the Royal Grille Steakhouse.

While relaxing by the pool, owners can enjoy a popular local drink, a Ting with a Sting!,” a simple concoction of locally made CSR Rum & Ting (grapefruit soda) to accompany their lunch at the Bohemia Bar & Grille which has a convenient swim-up bar.  Owners will have access to the resort’s state-of-the-art fitness center and use of the sundries store and retail shops.  For those with an appetite for gaming, The Royal Beach Casino is conveniently located on the resort grounds and features a trompe l’oeil ceiling that recreates the splendor of nighttime Caribbean sky.

The 18-hole Royal St. Kitts Golf Club offers the perfect paring of challenging golf with spectacular sweeping views of the Atlantic and Caribbean oceans. Owners will receive preferred tee times and discounted green fees.
