Bon Bini! That is “welcome!” in Papiamentu and the right way to start a vacation as Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) continues its expansion in the Caribbean basin with new nonstop flights to Bonaire and St. Kitts – Nevis starting next year.
Bonaire is part of the Dutch Caribbean islands off the coast of Venezuela and it is known as one of the finest snorkeling and scuba diving destinations in the Caribbean. This new flight complements Delta’s nonstop service from Atlanta to the other Dutch Caribbean islands of Aruba and Curacao.* (Nonstop service between Atlanta and Curacao starts on Dec. 22, 2007.)
St. Kitts is part of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the smallest nation in the Americas in both area and population. The unspoiled and exotic vegetation of St. Kitts makes it the perfect destination for ecotourism aficionados searching for lava formations, tropical forest areas, and seaside lagoons.
To celebrate the new service, Delta is offering one-way special fares of $179 from Atlanta to Bonaire, and $299 from Atlanta to St. Kitts (both based on a round-trip purchase), for purchase by Sept. 26, 2007, with travel completed by May 3, 2008. Additional taxes/fees/restrictions apply. Fare shown is available for purchase only on delta.com or from a travel agent.
